Demonstrator/Sales support Person

To demonstrate mainly new agricultural machinery in the Louth and surrounding area in a professional manner.

You will be responsible for the demonstration machinery in the depot to ensure that it is clean, maintained to a high standard.

To support local farmers and agricultural businesses with initial installation of products and carry out follow up calls to make sure the customer is getting the best from their new product and meeting their criteria.

The successful candidate will have a fluid role working closely with the sales department and the service department to make sure machinery being delivered to site is complete and to the specification ordered. Also inspecting used machinery on customers farms and premises to help assess the value with the sales department.

At times you would be expected to attend courses run by manufacturers and also assist to set up for demonstrations and local agricultural events. In general, this would be a varied and interesting role and the candidate would at times be expected to work on their own initiative.

This role would suit an existing machinery operator possibly working within an Agricultural enterprise and might wish to get a better work life balance. You would be able to operate Combine harvester, tractors and telescopic handler and would hold licences as required. You would also be interested in the new technology coming into agriculture and already using GPS steering or are willing to train and learn new skills.

We are looking for a motivated person with an enthusiastic disposition. Training would be provided and the candidate would be given time to learn and practice with new products prior to demonstrating.
