Louth Tractors Ltd has been serving the farming
community in Louth and the surrounding area since 1976. Recently Louth Tractors
Ltd have been awarded the CASE IH franchise, last seen in Louth in the early
1980s when it was operated by Achurch & Sons.
The company, which is based on the towns
Fairfield Industrial Estate signed up with CASE IH in September 2007 and
subsequently had an open day in the November. Director Paul Zukowskyj said,
“CASE IH were very keen for us to take on the franchise for the Louth area, and
this was our first opportunity to show customers the new range of machinery as
well as from our other franchises.” He said the CASE IH tractors, which include
the new Puma range launched in February 2007, would compliment their other major
manufacturers, which include Vaderstad and Kverneland equipment.
The change has come about due to the
termination of the John Deere franchise, after 32 years. Louth Tractors will
endeavour to offer a parts and backup service for John Deere equipment that they
have supplied. Mr. Zukowskyj said their customers have remained very loyal to
the company and have already expressed their interest in the CASE IH range of
new products.
He explained CASE IH, which have manufacturing
plants in Austria and the USA, have got one of the widest ranges of tractors in
the market from 50hp to 540hp as well as combine harvesters and balers. “As a
manufacturer they are offering this large cereals area a full range of high
horsepower tractors.” |
