Everyone welcome at Alvingham Village Hall from 7:30pm

We're hosting a special open evening with Sumo on November 20th at Alvingham Village Hall. Kicking off at 7:30pm, the event is open to everyone, whether you're new to SUMO or a seasoned operator. The teams from Louth and Sumo will be there to talk through the latest min-till techniques and cultivation technology, and share best-practice advice over some light refreshments.

Presentations will include:

  • Mark Curtis (sales director at Sumo): An introduction to the new team at Sumo, strip-till technology and the new Vaxio cultivator
  • Simon King & Ed Smith (Wharton Agriculture and AW Smith & Sons Ltd): Six years of strip-till experiences
  • Dr Dick Neale (Hutchinsons): 'My passion for strip-till'

As our own John Smith wrote about recently, min-till can reduce costs while giving environmental impact. Of course every farm is different, so whatever stage your at, from sceptic to convert, why not come along and find out more.
